It’s that time of the year again – art summary of 2024! I’ll be picking one art I’ve made each month this year for a summary.
I feel it’s a good thing to do and reflect on my progress and things I have done each year. Honestly this year has been mostly merch and convention grind I was worried I might have to skip some months where I was focusing more on production and marketing posts – but it turns out I still got some art choices for each month!

The Art Summary Journey of 2024
January
My Pokemon Concierge art! I kind of forgot I watched this early this year, it feels like it’s been awhile – this is one of the shows I greatly enjoy watching and recommend for the good vibes.
February
Drawing Kira Kira Art Market mascots Kari and Furi for the Draw this in your style contest hosted by the event and Silhouette cutting machine. It’s a chill art market I enjoyed joining in!
March
I launched my first original character sticker book in the previous Kira Kira art market, and I wanted to make another one for Klee from Genshin! She’s one of my favorite character and I feel will fit in a children sticker book theme.
April
I was wondering what other fandom I want to make merch of – and thought of one of my old favorites series Magical Doremi. One of my favorite magical girls series and I like the expressions the girls have!
May
It was an Aventurine simping era, long story short hahaha. It’s been awhile I got inspired to draw several fanart mini comics again and I’m glad when fellow players enjoy it too. He’s a new addition to my all time favorite male characters.
June
Continuing my Honkai Star Rail active period, I like March 7th’s new design and her animation with the drink is so cute I have to draw it! I made a mini comic featuring her and Acheron too, this art is a small part of that and I ended up making a coaster out of this.
July
Merch design grind era, drawing some Bangboo merch such as coasters and ecobags. It was a time I tried to experiment some new merch types.
August
I was participating in Chibicon this month and it’s my birthday month – I did a gift for myself by drawing a new art reference for my avatar character and introducing a new mascot character besides Kokoba the blue blob – now we have Ayayam the bird!
September
Another art for the second Kira Kira Art Market I joined, this time with matsuri theme and I draw the event’s mascots together with my own mascots! I tried to get a bit more decorative with the fireworks to fit the theme.
October
Halloween art featuring my characters – considering the amount of fanart I usually make and it’s a break period between conventions preparation, I want to take time to spend it drawing my own characters too for a change.
November
Convention season is finished, so I took a break by drawing something non-merch related and tried to chill practicing digital painting. It’s always more challenging and out of my comfort zone but also quite relaxing to draw without clear lineart and cel shading – I tried painting Dorothy my favorite character from the game Nikke.
December
Last art for the year – Christmas themed to close the year while I go out for vacation! Another art of my own characters. I tried experimenting a bit with lineart colors and some coloring style while not deviating too much yet from my usual style.

As usual, thank you for those who took the time to read through my ramblings and supported my work throughout 2024 and years before.
I’ve been trying to put more thoughts on what I want to keep drawing and how to make things work with my art hustling life. I haven’t really figured it out yet, but meanwhile I’ll try to still keep move forward little by little and hope I get to find my way around. I’ll keep things posted here soon!
