February has passed by! It’s quite a month of celebration with Valentine’s day and Chinese new year on dates near to each other! This month I mostly spent time with my dear ones but thankfully I still get to draw some new stuff! I’d like to share and yap a bit about the stuff I get to draw this month!
For Valentine’s day, I made a drawing of a happy Kokoba shaping a heart with its wiggly arms – I imagine its arm can extend and wiggle around to make shapes to express itself like shapes, letters, or more! It’s part of an upcoming LINE sticker series which I hope I can finish soon next month!
For Valentines, I went trying out trying a pottery couple activity to make a heart shaped mug! It’s a fun activity but also challenging, since I’m not used to traditional crafts so there is no digital art undo (lmao) but it’s pretty chill too when you get to paint and shape it!
This month my obsession with Arknights Endfield still continues – and finally I get to draw something from it! I got a bunch of ideas, but in the end the first thing I draw was Chen Qianyu since she’s just adorable.
I based it on her silly pose on the camera from the cutscene which became quite a meme, and ended up wrapping it as a post for Chinese New Year – wishing your life and your Endfield factory be prosperous!
Meanwhile, Nikke has been cooking with main story updates which I’m excited about! Neon’s backstory is very interesting, and her new form is fun to draw I get inspired to draw Neo-Neon immediately! Looking forward to bring her home from the gacha! (Now I finally have drawn all the Counters new form haha)
My Nayuta fanart also get nominated as top 30 for Nikke quarterly creator campaign! Thank you Nikke community for the support and I’m excited to draw more characters in the future!
Recently I did a watch together of the latest Pokemon Presents stream of its 30th Anniversary! It’s exciting to even watch the countdown with the logo animation of all the Pokemon – at first I didn’t expect they’ll include everyone even my niche favorites like Gulpin!
The livestream also revealed trailer of the newest upcoming Pokemon generation game – Winds & Waves! The new starters look interesting and I gotta try doodling it! Which team are you on? So far I’m liking Browt the leaf brow bird! Looking forward to see the evolution forms to decide!
While unfortunately this month I didn’t get to do merch updates and since I haven’t got signed up future art conventions yet, it’s not a priority for me at the moment considering all the other schedule I’ve got juggling, so right now the fact I still get to draw some things each month is already making me glad enough – even though of course I wish I get to do more.
The upcoming next months will get busy offline for me though, so it may be even more difficult to squeeze more drawing in but I hope I’ll still figure something out! Stay tuned and hope to see you again next month! Take care and have a nice day, thanks for reading!
