Another year of Comifuro! I’m glad to be able to attend another CF this year – I still feel Comifuro is my favorite local event to join. While it’s quite far from where I live which is more tiring to prepare for, it got a crowd with it and comes with a memorable experience each time so all the hassle does feel worth it once I get to the event.
For those who missed out my merch, I’m opening post-CF sale on my Tokopedia and mail orders so you can check things out there! The current list is based on ready stock available after events so some items are planned to be discontinued such as my Bangboo calendars.
I get to meet fellow artists, fandom friends, mutuals and see random fun things happening in the community from the cosplayers to other artists’ booth creative setups. I feel like it has its own charm and so I try my best to attend CF at least once every year, or at least as visitor when I don’t table up.

Here’s a quick overview on my booth setup! I had to work with a limited space with CF table size so it does look kinda cramped – but hey somehow I managed to squeeze in most things lmao. I plan to retire some merch after CF to make room for new merch, so hopefully my display can look neater over time.

In this CF we released new collab merch with Neko and Jor with these cat themed Lemon the Cat merch series! We made random card blind packs and stickers. The items were quite made on a tight timeline but thankfully they arrived super on time! We had to pack the items a day before the event lol but it’s been fun to prepare and to see visitors’ reactions to the silly cat stuff! These items are also been added to my Tokopedia so feel free to check them out!
Greatly thankful to my friends who came over visiting our booth and some even brought over snacks and drinks for energy boost! 🤣 I’m glad to see familiar faces of mutuals and old friends and some even random encounters of people I didn’t expect to meet. It’s pretty refreshing to meet out others in events like this!
I feel pretty nervous when meeting up people and I feel I’m not the best at remembering names or faces, but I try my best to keep up with conversations and remembering others ;; I hope I didn’t look too awkward! With the crowd going on unfortunately I didn’t manage to meet up everyone I planned to, but I hope next events I can get to meet and hang out with more people.
As usual, after every event one of my favorite things to do is to update my sticker book! I got new stickers to add and I even got special ‘stickers’ – koyo patches with doodles on them! This is such a peak gift and that super beeeg sticker too shocked me when I opened the envelope lmao. I get to add more pages of cute stickers!
I also got some cute merch from charms, photocards, and hair accessories! I get to grow my Aventurine mini standees army and meet with the legendary Doro Nikke. For the cute hair accessory, I feel I look too exhausted when I get back so I had Kokoba as a model for me lol :p
For this year I bring in more ‘jompo’ or elderly themed freebies since I think it can be a good fit for those who are tired at Comifuro hehe~ I gave out my mascot Kokoba with cajuput oil/minyak kayu putih and also brought some Antangin candies to give out!
Now that CF has ended, next stop will be Cocoma and Chibicon in August and September! More updates will be revealed soon. For the upcoming weeks, I’ll try to get some rest (I got self reward with this cute minyak kayu putih bottle accessory hehe) – and will try to prepare some new items in the upcoming months. Hopefully I’ll get to make some new fun merch!
